THE WATCHING HOURS

A first-person scripted narrative horror game.

You're Mark. Recently divorced. You just moved into a suspiciously cheap house in a quiet suburban neighborhood. You work late and come home after dark every night. Heat up dinner. Take out the trash. Shower. Go to bed. Normal stuff.

Except each night, something changes.

Night 1 — Your neighbor Dave introduces himself in the dark. A knock on the door after midnight. Nobody's there.

Night 2 — The porch light is off. You didn't turn it off. A note under the door: "Don't leave the lights on at night. It attracts them." Someone is standing on the road at 2:47 AM.

Night 3 — The back door is open. You locked it. Something is watching through the kitchen window. Dave is getting nervous. Scratching inside the walls.

Night 4 — The power goes out. The phone rings. "Get out of my house." The chairs are stacked on the table. You didn't do that. Something is in the house with you.

Night 5 — You find out what happened to the man who lived here before you. And why Dave never told you. And why the shed was locked from the outside.
